Hiya Lads,

There’s woman I work with and her 17 yr old son started biking to get to School/College late last autumn around the Enfield, Meath/North Kildare area. He was only biking about 2 months and had a spill on ice in late November. Since then he’s only managed to get back on the bike twice.

He drove the bike to the girlfriends house in Virginia – Cavan yesterday but couldn’t face coming back in the dark. I live in Dublin and offered to spin up after work tonight and “Chaperon” him back to their house, unfortunately he has already made other plans to get back home but without the bike. So getting the bike back down from Cavan to Kildare can be sorted at the weekend as I think the family have access to a van.

But can anyone recommend a good instructor to help get him back biking.?

His mam (I wish more apprentice bikers mums were like her) doesn’t want him to throw in the towel because of a small spill She’d rather he got back biking and gave it a proper go and then if he decided to move away from bikes then fair enough.

So can anyone recommend a good instructor for working with young newbies around the north Kildare area?
