Passed the test in Cork last Friday.

Absolutely delighted.

Advice:

Get a pre-test refresher with your instructor on the same route the examiner will use, a few days before test.

Run the route on your own for a couple days before test.

Practice the U-turn (with look-signal-looks) in the same place as exam until it comes naturally.

Check your Vehicle Registration Cert to see if Power Output is given. On mine it wasn’t, so I had to get a letter on headed paper from the dealer giving power. That letter has to have your bike’s registration number on it!

In Cork, you can get good practice on the couple of Ballincollig routes used. I’m not sure about other places, if the route is as predictable.
