I did my theory test in 2009 when I could just jump straight on my 50cc moped and teach myself. In 2013 I applied for an A category learner permit and have had it since. I now have a burgman 400 scooter. I like the comfort and it’s grand for my 25 min daily commute. I am required to sit a test before renewing my license this year. I’ve been told I need to do IBT before sitting any tests? Is this true seen as I’ve had a permit since 2009? -be it in a different category..
